Grace's Birthday Part 1

Well we had to move Grace's birthday spur of the minute so we decided to have it at the park. We were just glad it was sunny because we didn't have a back up plan since the park was our backup plan!!! Grace had a blast eating cupcakes and see all of her friends. We still had 13 kids there which was way more that we thought but Grace really enjoyed it. Thanks to all who treked out to our place.

We had a Mickey Mouse theme.

It blew stuff everywhere. We had picture of other peoples children and clothes in our yard. It was so surreal to see all of other peoples belongings and things that they work so hard for just thrown all over the street. It makes you think that it's just all stuff and stuff can be replaced but people and memories cannot...

Tornado Part 1

Here are some pics from the tornado. We were truely blessed. Grace and I were home and lucky it just missed us. It wiped out all the houses to our right and lucky those people were all at work or not home at the time. Here are some pics of the devistation it left and some of the clean up.

Grace was asleep in her crib during the tornado. She was covered in glass and thank God was watching over her b/c she didn't have a scratch on her.
We think those holes are from the blinds and blew all the way across her room and then landed in her crib.

At the Park

I went to the park with mommy and Cara. I'm showing off my great gymnastics skills. I have also figured out how to do a tumble all by myself. Plus I have no fear and that's why mom is putting my in gymnastics.

Cara and Mitch Visit from AL

Cara and Mitch my old neighbors came up to visit from AL. We went to the park and to the beach. Mom is posting things quite late- they came up and visited around the middle of April. Things have been a bit crazy since the tornado. But hopefully we will be back in the swing of things soon. I will be starting preschool in August as well as gymnastics and ballet. I'm very excited. I also had my 2 year old visit and I'm 30 lbs, 35 inches and smart for my age. At least I like to think so but my mom things I'm a smartie pants sometimes because I have definitely been quite testy as a 2 year old. I've been testing the limits a little to much and spending some loonnnnggg 2 minutes in time out. Not very often but more lately since I've turned 2.
